Ease of Training
Ask any Infor™ POS System user what they like most about our system, and they will most likely say the ease of training. Switchboard operators can be using the system in just a few minutes because of the intuitive keyboard layout.
Touch Screen Technology
The user friendly touch screen is configured for optimal speed and minimal touches. Because items are easily found, operators can quickly take orders.
Value Meals are quickly entered, and the operator can be led through prompts for the sandwich, side, and drink items. The system also has intelligent combo technology which with the touch of one button would put any valid combination of menu items into a meal.
The Status Monitor at a glance can give both managers and employees an overview of how the drive-in is performing both real-time and historically throughout the day. It is the “heartbeat” of the operation.
Delayed Phone Orders
SmartSeries allows phone orders to be taken in advance, and sent to the kitchen monitors at the appropriate time for customer pick-up.
Hot Shot Ordering and Tracking
The “Hot Shot” feature sends orders that need immediate attention to the front of the KDS and clock-out queues. If required, the order can be discounted and tracked for later analysis.
Drive Thru Hop Out
Orders that are ready to be hopped out can be manually or automatically sent to the Car Hop clock out station for immediate delivery to the drive thru customers. This feature can drastically increase the number of hopped orders and overall drive thru Speed-of-Service
Courtesy Tray Ticket Generation
The SmartSeries system will automatically generate a ticket when appropriate to the next Car Hop waiting to deliver an order. This information is tracked in the transaction log for monitoring purposes.
Employees can clock in/out using a finger print reader rather than a number or card if desired. This prevents false punches and reduces employee labor theft. This same procedure is used to login to a terminal for order entry or clock out procedures.
Because all transactional data is stored in a SQL database there is an abundance of information that can be reported from Adjustments (coupons and discounts) to menu mix, speed of service and labor information by time slot. Infor™ continues to enhance the reporting capabilities of SmartSeries.
Large KDS Displays
We can configure our KDS displays to include all orders or separate the drive thru orders from the stall/patio. Routing is very flexible, and can be configured for different day parts.
The transaction log which is stored in a SQL database gives you access to all information about orders. This includes, who took the order, who clocked out the order, and anything that happened to the order such as deletes and cancels. This is an essential tool to minimize employee theft and identify potential issues.
SmartShift Scheduling (Optional)
SmartShift is a flexible scheduling program that can accommodate many parameters and configurations. User designed templates combined with historical sales data insure labor targets are met. With its easy drag and drop functionality and interactive features, SmartShift is a great tool for managers to quickly and accurately make employee schedules.
